Ms. Williams completed her undergraduate and graduate education at North Carolina A&T State University. She moved to Charlotte with her son in 2007 and began working for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. She taught Biology and Earth/Environmental Science at Garinger High School from 2007 to 2010. After Garinger, Ms. Williams transferred to West Charlotte High School where she taught Biology. In 2013 Ms. Williams took a new position at Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology to teach AP Environmental Science, Biology, and Earth/Environmental Science. Ms. Williams currently teaches Biomedical Sciences in the Career and Technical Education department at Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology.
